Vibrant Tails was created from a lifelong love of animals and a passion for preserving the moments that make them unforgettable. Every pet has a unique personality, a story, and a place in the hearts of the people who love them. My goal is to create artwork that captures far more than what your pet looks like; I want to capture who they are.
Whether they're playful and adventurous, quiet and gentle, or wonderfully quirky, every session is designed around making them feel comfortable so their true personality can shine.
My background working with animals has taught me that patience, understanding, and trust are just as important as technical skill. Having spent years caring for animals of every age, breed, and temperament, including rescue animals, I know that no two pets are the same, and I embrace that.
Together, we will create timeless portraits that celebrate the incredible bond between you and your companion.
Hey, I'm Heather Eileen
Animals have been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. Before starting Vibrant Tails, I worked with the SPCA, where I cared for and photographed animals from every walk of life. That experience taught me that every pet has their own personality, their own story, and they deserve to be seen for exactly who they are.
I share my home with my 4 dogs and a clowder of 12 rescue cats, each one reminding me every day that patience, trust, and understanding create the most meaningful moments. They've made me a better photographer by teaching me to work at an animal's pace rather than my own.
Rich tones, dramatic light, and fine-art style portraiture inspire my photography. Whether your companion is energetic and playful, quiet and reserved, or somewhere in between, my goal is to create artwork that captures the spirit you know and love. Those genuine moments that slip by us so quickly: the curious head tilt, the proud stance, the soft glance they give only to you. These are the moments that become treasured memories.
